PRESS YOUR BEAT · ORDERS

General terms & conditions of sale

These terms explain how an order works when Press Your Beat quotes, invoices and collects payment for the finished products. Your accepted quotation identifies the exact product, specification, price, payment milestones and delivery arrangement. Mandatory consumer rights always apply.

01 · Seller and service

Press Your Beat is the trading name of Juan Pablo Ramirez Acevedo, based in Gandía, Valencia, Spain. Full identification and contact details are in our Legal Notice.

We organise and follow the manufacture of physical music releases. Specialist production partners make the vinyl records, CDs, cassettes and printed products; Press Your Beat does not operate the manufacturing plant. For an order quoted and invoiced by us, we remain your contractual point of contact through production and delivery.

Occasionally, a manufacturing partner may contract with and invoice a customer directly. That different arrangement must be made clear in the quotation, including who supplies and invoices each part. These terms do not automatically apply to goods sold directly by that partner.

02 · Quotes and orders

Asking for a quotation does not place an order. A quotation states its own validity period and becomes an order only after you accept it and we confirm it in writing. We then need the agreed payment, order information and production-ready files before production can be scheduled. We will confirm when the materials and production slot have been validated.

If a file does not meet the agreed specification, we may ask for a correction or replacement. Any paid correction or extra service is quoted for your acceptance before that work starts.

03 · Prices and payment

Your quotation or pro forma invoice sets out the price, applicable taxes, payment milestones and any variable items. The payment schedule depends on the accepted quotation; the balance must be paid before dispatch unless it expressly agrees otherwise. A requested change or optional extra requires your approval of a revised quote.

The quotation explains how any permitted quantity adjustment is priced. If the estimated shipping cost rises materially, we will explain the new amount and obtain your approval before dispatch.

04 · Files, rights and approvals

You provide the final audio, artwork, credits, track information and other materials needed for your order. Please check spelling, sequence, dimensions and content before approving them. You must hold the rights and permissions needed to reproduce the material.

We review files for common technical risks and flag apparent problems, but no check can find every error. Your final approval is needed before production. We share materials with the production partners only as needed to fulfil the order; ownership of your music and artwork remains yours. See our file preparation guide and the artwork templates.

05 · Production, proofs and quantities

The accepted quotation defines the format, quantity, colours, packaging and any proofs or test pressings. A vinyl test pressing, when included, is for listening to the acoustic result; it is not a sample of the final colour, printed labels or sleeve. Check both sides and tell us about any concern before approval. Check printed proofs against your approved files in the same way.

Once production has begun, a change may be impossible or may create extra costs. For vinyl orders, the final manufactured quantity may be up to approximately 10% above or below the quantity ordered. Additional copies are charged using the method stated in your quotation; a shortfall is refunded or credited. We will show the adjustment in the final account. Other products do not automatically share this vinyl tolerance. Physical colour effects and print finishes can vary within the agreed specification; a genuine manufacturing defect remains subject to the remedies below and applicable law.

06 · Timing and delivery

Production and delivery dates are estimates unless a date is expressly agreed as binding. An estimate starts when the order, payment, files and approvals needed for production are complete. We will tell you about a material delay and discuss the available options.

The quotation states the delivery destination and whether shipping is included or estimated. If packed weight, destination or carrier rates change the final shipping price materially, we will tell you and seek your approval before dispatch. For a consumer, risk in transit passes in accordance with applicable consumer law, generally when you or your chosen recipient takes physical possession, subject to the statutory exception where you independently choose a carrier we did not propose.

07 · Reporting a problem

Please inspect the cartons and delivered quantity promptly. If you see damage or missing boxes, ask the carrier to record it, take photographs and contact us as soon as possible at contact@pressyourbeat.com. Quick notice helps us preserve evidence for the carrier and manufacturer; it does not remove statutory rights if you cannot report it immediately.

For a problem discovered after unpacking, send your order reference, a description, photographs or video, and an estimate of affected units. For an audio issue, identify the side, track and approximate time. Keep affected samples available while we assess the issue and give you return instructions where needed. A supplier's internal notice window or minimum defect percentage does not automatically limit your rights against us.

08 · Cancellation and personalised goods

If you ask to cancel before production, we will account for work already performed and third-party costs already authorised or committed, and refund any balance due. After production starts, cancellation may not be possible or may involve those completed and committed costs. We will explain the position in writing for your order.

For consumer orders made to the customer's specifications or clearly personalised, the statutory exception to the distance-selling withdrawal right may apply. We will provide the required information before the contract is concluded. This does not remove rights concerning defective or non-conforming goods; other statutory withdrawal rights remain unaffected where applicable.

09 · Remedies and responsibility

Tell us about a suspected non-conformity so we can investigate it with the production partner. We will explain the remedy required by applicable law and the circumstances of the order, which may include correction, replacement, a price adjustment or another legally required remedy. Our separate arrangement with the manufacturer does not remove our obligations to a customer who bought from us.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

10 · Law, privacy and contact

Spanish law governs these terms, subject to mandatory consumer protections. Courts with jurisdiction are determined by applicable law; a consumer is not required to bring a claim in a court that mandatory law does not permit. Contact contact@pressyourbeat.com first if you would like us to resolve a concern directly.

Personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Placing an order does not by itself subscribe you to promotional emails.
