Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Press Your Beat collects through pressyourbeat.com, why, and what rights you have over it, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).

1. Data controller

The data controller responsible for the personal data you submit through this website is Press Your Beat, a trading name operated by Juan Pablo Ramirez Acevedo, with registered address at Avda. del Grau 58, Esc. 2, 46701 Gandía, Valencia, Spain. You can contact us at contact@pressyourbeat.com.

2. Data we collect

We collect the information you submit through the quote request form (project and release details, format and quantity, delivery and billing information, your name and email address) and any information you send us by email or other direct correspondence. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics also collects usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location and device information. We do not collect payment card details on this website.

3. Purpose of processing

We use this data to respond to your enquiry, prepare and manage your quote, and administer any order you confirm with us — including production, delivery and billing communication for that order.

If you separately choose to receive marketing communications, we also use your name and email address to send occasional Press Your Beat offers, production updates and physical music news. Requesting a quote does not require you to join this list.

4. Legal basis

Processing related to preparing and fulfilling an order is based on the performance of a contract (or pre-contractual steps taken at your request), under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Processing of general enquiries that don't lead to an order is based on our legitimate interest in responding to you, under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Where we ever ask for your consent for anything else, including marketing emails, you may withdraw it at any time. Optional analytics is based on your consent, which you can change through Cookie settings in the footer. Marketing consent is optional and can be withdrawn through the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by contacting us.

5. Who we share data with

We use service providers to operate this website and communicate with you, including our website host (Vercel) and email provider (Resend). If you accept analytics, Google Ireland Limited processes website usage data for us. If you confirm an order, we share the information needed to fulfil it with the relevant manufacturing, printing, packaging and delivery partners. Depending on their role, these partners may process data on our behalf or act as independent controllers for their own obligations. We do not sell personal data or share it with third parties for their own advertising.

6. Retention

We keep enquiry data submitted through the quote form for up to 12 months if it doesn't lead to an order. Data relating to confirmed orders is kept for the duration of our business relationship plus any period required by Spanish tax and accounting law (generally six years).

If you join our marketing list, we keep your contact details and a record of your consent until you unsubscribe or withdraw that consent.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your personal data, and to object to its processing. To exercise any of these rights, write to contact@pressyourbeat.com. We'll respond within the timeframes set out in the GDPR.

8. Complaints to the supervisory authority

If you believe your data protection rights have not been respected, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, AEPD) at www.aepd.es.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves — for example when the analytics and consent changes described in our cookies policy take effect. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
