PRESSED CDS · DIGIPACK · JEWEL · WALLETS
CD manufacturing that still gets taken seriously
Press Your Beat manufactures professionally pressed CDs with printed packaging for independent artists and record labels, managed end to end from Spain: quote, technical file review, replication at a trusted European plant, and delivery wherever you need it. CDs are often part of a multi-format release — and we coordinate vinyl, CD and cassette as one project with one timeline and one contact.
No commitment. Real answers from a real person.
FORMAT · TOUR · RETAIL
Why CDs still earn their place
Streams don't sell at merch tables — CDs do, at friendly prices, night after night on tour. Radio stations, reviewers and older audiences still expect them. They're the fastest physical format to manufacture and the cheapest way to give a release a real object. None of this is nostalgia; it's maths most artists discover at their third gig. If your audience buys at shows, a CD run often pays for itself before vinyl even finishes production.
REPLICATED · RETAIL-READY
Pressed, not burned — the difference that matters
There are two ways to put music on a CD, and they are not the same product. Replicated (pressed) CDs are manufactured from a glass master, like vinyl from a stamper — the professional standard: durable, retail-ready, and what distributors expect. Duplicated CD-Rs are burned copies — fine for demos, not for a release. Press Your Beat produces replicated CDs; if your quantity or timeline actually suits duplication better, we'll tell you honestly instead of selling you the wrong thing.

QUOTE → FILES → PRODUCTION → DELIVERY
How it works & what it costs
The process follows the same nine steps as every PYB project — quote, file review, production, QC, delivery — typically faster than vinyl; we confirm the realistic window for your configuration in the quote. Cost depends on quantity, packaging type, booklet pages and extras; your quote is itemised so you can see exactly where the money goes. Ask — pressure-free — via the quote form.
ONE RELEASE · TWO FORMATS
Vinyl + CD in one coordinated release
The most common way labels work with us: one project, both formats, consistent artwork adapted to each template system, one timeline where the slower format sets the street date and the faster one doesn't sit around aging. One contact, one plan, no juggling suppliers.
CD QUESTIONS · CLEAR ANSWERS
Frequently asked questions about CD manufacturing
What is the minimum order for CD manufacturing?
Minimums depend on configuration; small runs are our normal territory, not an exception. Tell us your quantity and we'll confirm the options — including what makes financial sense at your size.
What audio format do I need for CD?
A DDP image from your mastering engineer is the professional standard — it locks track order, gaps, ISRC codes and CD-Text exactly. If you have WAVs only, we'll help coordinate the DDP so nothing is left to interpretation.
Pressed CD or CD-R — which will I get?
Replicated (pressed) CDs from a glass master: the durable, retail-standard product. If duplication genuinely suits your project better, we'll say so before you spend.
How long does CD manufacturing take?
Usually noticeably faster than vinyl — typically a few weeks rather than months, depending on packaging and plant workload. You'll get an honest window for your exact configuration in the quote.
Can you match my CD packaging to my vinyl artwork?
Yes — it's one of the main reasons multi-format projects run better as one coordinated order. Same design language, adapted correctly to each format's templates, checked before print.
Do CDs need a barcode?
For distribution and retail, yes. We'll check placement, size and contrast on your artwork — scanning failures are a silly reason to have stock rejected.
